Hey there fellow foodies! Let me tell you about my latest obsession - Polar Playground. This place is where dreams come true, especially if your dreams involve delicious cotton candy and creative ice cream treats. I had heard about this place for ages, but the long wait times always put me off. When I finally made it there, I was pleasantly surprised to find only a few people there on a Thursday. The staff, especially Alex, were super friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. The daily menu with rotating character options had me feeling like a kid again. I couldn't resist picking a Patrick from SpongeBob, which was filled with passion fruit flavor. Watching them craft these intricate designs out of cotton candy right in front of me was a treat in itself. And let's not forget about the ice cream! The variety here is a candy lover's paradise. I couldn't resist trying the oogie boogie character with green apple flavor - it was divine. Sure, the prices may seem a bit steep at around $20 each, but trust me, it's worth it for the experience. The only downside is the limited seating, so be prepared to enjoy your treats on the go or take them home for later. Overall, Polar Playground is a must-visit for anyone looking for a fun and tasty treat. I can't wait to come back for their Christmas characters. Hope to see you there soon!

As soon as we walked into the restaurant, we could tell this place was a hit. Even though it was a Thursday evening, we were pleasantly surprised to see no line at 6:30pm. By the time we left after 7pm, more families started to arrive, but we were lucky to have missed the crowd. Let me tell you, this place is a dessert lover's paradise! They have everything from ice cream to sundaes, milkshakes to malts, and even soft serve and character-shaped cotton candy. We couldn't resist trying the character cotton candy, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. We chose the mushroom from Mario Bros and paired it with a scoop of espresso ice cream – what a combination! The workers here are incredibly talented. It takes them about 5 minutes to carefully craft the character of your choice, and the attention to detail is truly impressive. It's like watching a work of art come to life right in front of your eyes. Each worker focuses on different parts of the design, and the end result is a masterpiece. As for the flavors, they vary depending on the character you choose. You also have the option to add additional toppings for more flavor. Personally, I found that all the flavors tasted pretty similar – sweet with a burst of color in every bite. Overall, this place is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. The atmosphere is fun and lively, the desserts are delicious, and the experience of watching your character cotton candy come to life is truly unforgettable. We can't wait to come back and try more of their sweet treats!
